Guinea-Bissau — Equipping the Church and Putting Faith on Display
Guinea-Bissau is a Muslim-majority nation in West Africa where the Church is present, but often unseen. When we came, our heart was to deeply equip believers and help the Church step into who she truly is — bold, joyful, and unashamed of Jesus.

Over five full days, we held intensive evangelistic training for hundreds of local believers, the youngest only seven years old. Men, women, and children from many churches and ministries gathered to be grounded in the Gospel, strengthened in their faith, and equipped to share Jesus clearly and confidently.

This equipping did not stay inside the walls.
As believers stepped out, the Church became visible. Hundreds took to the streets — sharing the Gospel one-on-one, inviting the lost into fellowship, and moving together in unity. What followed was not forced or manufactured, but joyful and spontaneous.

The Church went on display.
​
We witnessed worship in the streets, joyful singing and dancing, and bold testimony to Jesus as believers walked, ran, and drove for miles through neighborhoods and city centers. A large Jesus parade formed, drawing thousands who joined in, listened, and heard the Gospel preached to crowd after crowd.
​
What unfolded was a powerful picture of the Church alive — marked by joy, freedom, boldness, and unity in Christ. This combination of deep equipping, public worship, personal evangelism, and community presence meaningfully encouraged the local Church, reached the lost, and impacted the wider region.

The name of Jesus was lifted high — not by a few, but by the Church together — and many saw, heard, and responded.

Our heart for Guinea-Bissau is to continue seeing a fully equipped Church walking in bold faith, visible joy, and public witness, shining the light of Christ throughout the nation.
